Have You Ever Thought

Happy Sunday Everyone!

This is probably one of the silliest poems I have written. But it was a lot of fun! Imagining all the things that could have happened "IF"! This one could have gone on for ever and ever(sometimes it can be hard to stop), and I'm sure anyone who reads it, will find a few more of his/her own "IFs". Enjoy!

Have you ever thought

If things could change

We would find life

Pretty weird and strange

Have you ever thought

That if we wouldn’t think

All we would do is

Sit around and blink

Have you ever thought

That if hair didn’t exist

We would save up on so much

That we would have to make a list

Have you ever thought

That if we would't have gone to school

Who would have taught us

What it meant to be cruel

Have you ever thought

That if numbers were never made

We would never know how much

For our work we were paid

Have you ever thought

What would have happened

If you would have fallen in love

It would have made you absentminded

That you’d go out in the snow

With only one glove

Have you ever thought

That maybe goodbyes

Were made as an excuse

For us to cry

Have you ever thought

That maybe even I need a break

I keep trying to entertain you

‘Cause my reputation is at stake

Have you ever thought

That maybe I need to sleep

I'm sure you guys haven’t

That’s why I'm running away

And hiding in the deep

Have you ever thought

That if you hadn’t read this page

You would have saved some time

To get a job

And earn some wage

Study Session Mayhem

Hello.

Today’s entry is an old poem I found. I had written it during an extremely frustrating study session. Im pretty sure it was a grueling chemistry session.#shudder#

I ended up spending the time, which I should have used studying, in writing this. But atleast it helped clear my head.

Shirt is hanging out

And my hair is going wild

Teachers please don’t forget

I am only still a child

Sheets and sheets

Keep piling up

No empty space is left

It seems as if this world

Is putting me to the test

It wants to see

How hard I’ll work

For something that I want

It wants to see my work

Without flattery or flaunt

Oh world!

I’ll show you NOW.

I’ll give you better than my best

To you that’s my VOW!
